How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?
When I had a job, I was helping everyone, relatives, friends, everyone, in every way. I did not ask anyone for help if needed. Because my nature was like that. Invite everyone to my home for dinner. But when I had an attack of paralysis, none of my relatives and friends came to help me. It didn’t matter if no one helped me because of my nature. I try to do the best I can.
This is a wonderful post and I totally relate to it. I love to help my friends and I did it to the best of my abilities while I was working. Last year in January I had to quit my job due to some health problems that haven’t been resolved yet now one year later, and sadly I haven’t received any help back. But it doesn’t matter to me because I helped unconditionally. And my friends have no money and they depended on me and they still do. But what made me sad was that my own family told me they couldn’t help me long term and that I had to find a way to help myself. The take away from this life lesson is that we must always stay true to ourselves and don’t change our heart and our principles in life. To me, helping my friends is my reward and my happiness and my motivation in life.
