How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?
When I was a child, my handwriting was exceptionally beautiful. I was the first-rank winner in handwriting competitions and had even received certificates for it. I had won such competitions many times.
Even now, my handwriting is quite good, but back then, it was extraordinarily beautiful. Because of this, the girls in my class used to ask me to write their homework. Those girls were not very intelligent in studies, their handwriting was not good, and they couldn’t complete their homework properly, which often led to punishment. So, they would get their homework written by me.
I also had a great passion for writing, so I used to help them by writing for them.
However, due to my family’s financial situation, my education and writing came to a halt. This happened to me several times. As a result, I decided that I would never engage in writing again!
But later, I got another chance to pursue writing. Through websites, I started writing prompts on blogs, and my writing journey resumed.
Now, I don’t know what lies ahead. Who knows if I will have to stop writing again? I feel this might happen because I cannot predict my future. Such is my fate.
