What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

From TV Glimpses to Words: My Real World of Books
I am a housewife, and because of that my daily routine is always full. Cooking, cleaning, serving food, filling drinking water when the municipal tap arrives, taking care of family—there is always something to do. Because of this busy life, I hardly get time to sit and watch TV, movies, or long series.
To be honest, I am not very interested in watching television for hours. But sometimes when someone in the house is watching TV, my eyes automatically go towards the screen. While working—sweeping the floor, washing utensils, serving meals, or doing household chores—I catch a few moments of whatever is playing on TV.
Sometimes children watch cartoons like Doraemon and Shinchan. I like Doraemon a little, but Shinchan not as much. I never stop my work just to watch TV; I simply watch a little while continuing my work.

Shows That Once Inspired Me
In the early 2000s, there were some programs that I truly liked because they gave knowledge and inspiration. For example:
Turning Point
Bhoomi
These kinds of shows were meaningful. I enjoy programs that teach something useful, something that can be applied practically in real life.
Another show I loved was Small Wonder.
In that series, a scientist creates a robot girl and treats her like his daughter. The family lives with her as if she is part of them. The story was unique and fascinating to me.
Sometimes, while doing my work, I also watch programs on Discovery Channel that show animals, nature, and the wonders of the world.

Why I Don’t Like Watching Too Much TV
I believe watching TV for long hours is not good for our eyes, especially for children. If small kids sit too close to the TV for a long time, it can harm their eyesight and they may even need glasses.
Entertainment is fine, but wasting hours in front of the TV just for timepass is something I never liked—for myself or for anyone in my family.

My Childhood Memories of Television
When I was a child, we didn’t even have a TV at home. Our family’s financial condition was difficult. At that time, very few people owned televisions.
In our colony, only one family had a TV—the Tambekar family. Sometimes I used to go to their house to watch television. First they had a black-and-white TV, and later they bought a color TV when it became available in the market.
I remember how exciting it felt to watch colorful programs for the first time. I especially liked watching Shaktimaan.

Today’s World: Mobile Phones Everywhere
Today everything has changed. People watch more on mobile phones than on television.
My mother still loves TV. Her eyesight is weak, so she cannot clearly see the screen, but she listens carefully and understands the entire story just by hearing it. In our home, she is the one who watches TV the most.
As for me, I prefer listening to news on TV while doing my work rather than sitting and watching long serials.

My Real Passion: Reading and Writing
Even though television never became my real hobby, reading and writing always did.
Since childhood, I have had a deep connection with books and pens. They are like my silent companions.
Today, through WordPress, I finally got the opportunity to express my thoughts through writing. Prompts and blogging gave my passion a place to grow. Otherwise, my love for writing might have remained incomplete.
Now my closest companions are:
My mobile phone
WordPress writing prompts
My notebook
And my pen
When I start writing, sometimes I even forget hunger and thirst.
Books and pens have been my true support system since childhood. Without them, I feel incomplete. My bond with them is timeless—something that will never break.
