How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?
Where the Lines Were Left Mid-Breath
There have been so many moments when I sat down to draw, fully lost in my own world of lines and imagination… and yet, life quietly called me away.
Not once, not twice—but many times.
In the middle of a stroke, in the middle of a feeling, I had to get up. Not because I wanted to, but because I had to. Responsibilities at home, small interruptions, unexpected calls—each one gently pulling me away from something I wasn’t ready to leave.
And there it stayed… my drawing.
Incomplete.
Paused.
Waiting.
But somehow, those unfinished sketches carry a different kind of beauty. They hold the emotion of that exact moment—the thought I couldn’t finish, the feeling I had to pause, the story left hanging between lines.
Even when I walk away, a part of me stays behind… still sitting there, still drawing, still dreaming.
Maybe some art isn’t meant to be completed in one sitting.
Maybe some creations are meant to wait… just like we do.
