Are you superstitious?
Are you superstitious?
No? Absolutely Not? I am not superstitious. I don’t believe in such nonsense at all and even if convinces me, I will not believe in such things and I will not agree with them.
But sometimes some incidents happen that we come to believe in it. It has happened to me too that I became superstitious at one point because of it.
But such superstition is not good for mankind. Due to this, the future work of a person can halt and the person gets involved in this superstitious pursuit. He can not find a way out of it.
I’m not superstitious so I don’t do such frivolous things. But I have seen people follow certain customs to try to prevent a bad omen!
For example, people hang a black cloth doll on the main door of the house during Diwali festival. That black doll is bought from the market. They do so to protect their houses from evil eye.
Also, I have seen people do that when they build a new house, when they do Vaastu Shanti, they take a long wooden stick on the roof of the house and put a black shoe on its upper end and hang the shoe upside down on the wooden end. superstitious act is done to protect the house from the evil eye.
Similarly, black kajal is put in the eyes of small babies to protect them from the evil eye! Salt and pepper are used cast off the evil eye!
If a cat crosses the road horizontally in front of anyone, people do not cross the road until someone else crosses the road after it in the same directon.
People wear black-beaded bracelets or thread on their hands and feet, around their necks to keep away from the evil eye!
So that’s my prompt’s response for today! Thank you so much to all the fellow bloggers who support me! Take care! Stay safe!
